Founded in 1972, the Key West Club is a community-oriented club offering swimming, tennis, and social activities for children and adults. The setting is private and surrounded by trees. Walking paths along the Rivanna River and through the woods keep you in tune with nature. The club facility consists of a Junior Olympics 25-yard swimming pool with diving well and board, a separate toddler pool, a large concrete apron and a raised wooden deck with lounge chairs and tables. The sheltered facility has restrooms, a snack bar, ping-pong and picnic tables. Our swim team participate in the Jefferson Swim League and we offer private and group swim lessons. Our two asphalt tennis courts are available for year-round play. Our youth tennis program participants play in area league competition. Private tennis lessons are available for adults and children by our tennis professional.
The Key West Club is a separately run organization from the Key West Neighborhood Association. More information can be found on their website.
